ISAF NATO OTAN Patch

The International Security Assistance Force , ISAF, eventually became a NATO (OTAN in French) led military mission in Afghanistan. Its main purpose was to assist in rebuilding the country, training and engage against the Taliban insurgency. ISAF was led by NATO in 2003 and disbanded in 2014, though some troops stayed behind in advisory roles to the Afghan forces. These large shield shaped patches have a hook & loop back where the backing can be sewn to garments if needed, or removed and adhered to items with the appropriate surface.
