The Norwegian shirt (aka 'Norgie' or 'Norgy') is a much loved garment of the British Army. If you hadn't guessed already, the Norgie originated from Norway, where the winters are cold and tough hence the quality clothing system. A Norgie is a long-sleeve top which is worn as a base or middle layer in cold and dry conditions. The interior side is made of a terry toweling fabric for absorbing cool sweat off your skin and keeping you warm during low-intensity activities.

Norgies feature a high collar which can be zipped to the top in extreme cold weather. The cuffs can be buttoned tight or left loose and rolled up for casual wear. Any outdoor conqueror can appreciate an affordable, warm layer with a high build quality to last years of use.

    Features:

    • Genuine British Army surplus
    • High collar with quarter length zip
    • Terry cloth interior
    • Single buttoned cuffs
