British DPM Boonie Hat

Boonie hats, jungle hats and sometimes called giggle hats - are an all round fantastic piece of headwear. But genuine surplus boonie hats are even better! Tough lightweight material that protects against the elements whilst also being flexible enough to easily store. Boonies provide protection against the beating sun and driving rains, they also give more breathability than your standard hat, making them great for warm, muggy environments.

Eyelets on each side of this boonie help with ventilation. A band is also sewn around this hat, leaving small openings that can be used to add foliage, to give extra camouflage and break up silhouettes. This band can be used by campers or fishermen, to store items like extra hooks and accessories. The latest batch of these boonie hats do not include chinstraps. Grab one to polish off a DPM set or keep that sun off your noggin.
