USGI OD Canteen Cover

These canteen covers are the result of years of experience jungle fighting in Vietnam by US forces. ALICE might have shown up too late for that particular conflict, but it continued for decades to come and still sees limited use with US military personnel.

ALICE set the trend for modern equipment - nylon build to prevent rotting in humid environments and from the very water it carries. It also provides the bonus of being very lightweight, even when wet compared to its previous canvas counterparts. The pouch has a internal synthetic fleece to help maintain your canteens contents temperature as well as snap domes to secure your canteen. A pair of ALICE clips adorns the back so you can integrate it onto a web belt or backpack easily for modularity.
