Austrian Winter Field Cap

A genuine Austrian Army winter field cap, similar in design to that of a WWII German Luftwaffe hat. Despite the traditional Germanic appearance, these caps have a modern construction and are dated from the mid 2000's. This is a cold weather cap, complete with faux fur ear flaps and a thick, quilted interior. Snap dome fasteners allow many configurations of the flaps; on top of the head, beside the ears, over the chin or behind the head.

A red and white Austrian cockade is stitched into the front of the cap, paying homage to its traditional military form. The Austrian Bundesheer are great at making sharp-looking garments that fit well into civilian clothing. Pick this one up for your frosty hunting trips and outdoor pursuits.
