USAF MA-1 Intermediate Jacket (2)

The USAF MA-1 Intermediate Flight Jacket, introduced in the 1950s, was designed for jet-age pilots operating in moderate climates. Made from durable nylon it quickly became an icon of U.S. Air Force gear. Its knit cuffs, waistband, and collar provided warmth and comfort in cockpits. Widely adopted by military and later civilians, the MA-1 remains a timeless symbol of aviation heritage and Cold War style. This jacket (and the other for sale) do not have the reversible orange lining but subdued sage green, like the exterior. This jacket is in very tidy condition except for the bottom left knit edge has a small hole (~1.5cm) to the outer layer. Light, spotty stains run up the right chest to shoulder,  across the back and on outer arms.
