Dutch Light Weight Sleeping Bag

The summertime Dutch sleeping bag! 

This is the light weight component of the Dutch modular sleep system. These have thinner insulation than the medium weight and a more regular shape. The Dutch know the horror of biting insects and have a handy, stowable mesh screen to the top opening, that you can zip closed. The main sleeping bag opening zip is positioned to the side, which avoids a thermal bridge when stacked with the medium weight sleeping bag (with a centre zip). This sleeping bag has a durable ripstop nylon shell and synthetic insulation designed to retain heat even when damp. 

Use separately or grab the other components and layer together for braving more extreme cold.
